Active Network Monitor®
Centralized Network Monitoring Interface for Windows Networks
About Active Network Monitor®
Active Network Monitor® is a tool for the day-to-day monitoring of computers in the network. Active Network Monitor® runs under Windows NT/2000/XP and allows Systems Administrators to gather information from all the computers (even from the Windows 9x/Me computers) in the network without installing server-side applications on these computers. Active Network Monitor® provides the powerful technology of storing and comparing received data. Administrators can make "snapshots" of the systems for future comparison and notation of changes.
Active Network Monitor® has a flexible plug-in based architecture that allows you to plug in necessary modules on demand. Each module (plug-in) performs a task and displays retrieved information in its own window. Active Network Monitor® ships with a predefined, constantly growing list of plug-ins, including plug-ins for monitoring services, devices, installed applications, disks, shared resources, hardware resources (IRQs, I/O, DMA and Memory), users, local groups, global groups and so on.
With Active Network Monitor® you can:
Use the growing list of plug-ins for gathering important information from the remote computers
Scan network computers by types (Server, Workstation, SQL Server, etc.)
Scan network computers by names (you can select computers either from the network tree or load a predefined list from the file)
View information immediately from a plug-in, rather than wait for a scan process of all your computers to be completed
Save retrieved information into the project in the special folder or into the external file
Load previously saved info...
PortsLock®
Prevents Unauthorized Access to Network Resources
About PortsLock®
Once PortsLock® is installed, administrators can assign permissions to TCP/IP connections, just as they would in managing permissions on an NTFS partition of a hard disk. It lets you control which users can access what TCP/IP based protocols (HTTP, FTP, SMTP, POP3, Telnet, etc.) on a local computer, depending on the time of day and day of the week. You can also set allowed/denied TCP/UDP ports and IP addresses for incoming and outgoing connections.
PortsLock® is absolutely transparent to users. Users do not have to set up rules in their applications to use the network. Only administrators are allowed to set rules so users without administrative privileges cannot bypass the PortsLock® security. It is important to note that PortsLock® works perfectly with other personal firewalls and routers installed on the same computer.
Keep in mind that almost 80% of all security breaches come from the inside! PortsLock® enhances access control possibilities for system administrators, helps them to build a more secure network environment, and protects corporate networks against attacks from the inside.
With PortsLock® you can:
Block access to network resources (web sites, network services, LAN, etc.) for a particular user or user group
Control access to network resources, depending on the time of day and day of the week
Audit network activity for a particular user or user group
Monitor applications' network activities and discovery of malicious programs (viruses, Trojans, etc.) in real-time
You need PortsLock® if you:
want to protect your network from the insiders attack
want to assign...
Active Ports - easy to use tool that enables you to monitor all open TCP/IP and UDP ports on the local computer. Active Ports maps ports to the owning application so you can watch which process has opened which port. It also displays a local and remote IP address for each connection and allows you to terminate the owning processt. Active Ports can help you to detect trojans and other malicious programs.
DeviceLock Millennium Edition gives network administrators control over which users can access what removable devices (floppies, Magneto-Optical disks, CD-ROMs, ZIPs, etc.) on a local Windows 95/98/Me computer. Once DeviceLock Me is installed, administrators can control access to floppies, CD-ROMs or any other device, depending on the time of day and day of the week. Remote control is also available.
