My Personal Diary, by CAM Development, is very cool diary that can be used for so much! I personally think it's an excellent tool for both home and office work. You can use it to keep track of your personal information and just as easily use it for business data. One powerful feature is that everything you enter is encrypted, so it's always safe. Another very neat feature is that My Personal Diary allows you to have sounds, pictures, and lots more included in your entries. This means you can have a "diary" with multimedia content. The program also has a very powerful search function, that lets you find all of the information you've entered. You can search by phrase, by a single word, or even by a "category marker" that you define yourself. Slick!
Over the years I've tried a good number of journal and diary programs. And one thing was lacking in most of them. What? The ability to synchronize multiple copies. Hey, in this area My Personal Diary has you fully covered! It comes with a great merge function that lets you have multiple copies of the program and still keep the entries in sync. And you can keep in sync too because this is much more than just a diary. It also has a To-Do list, address book, a nifty "password vault" (for tracking passwords), and more! Heck, there's even a place for notes! You've got everything you need to stay organized in one, neat package. Can't do any better than that!

That makes it perfect for both new and experienced users. It's secure, flexible, and able to deal with multimedia content. You can keep multiple copies synchronized, password protect it, export data, and lots, lots, more. And, rumor has it that soon there be versions available for The Pocket PC and the Palm OS. How cool is that? VERY! So, if you're looking for a tool to help keep you organized, at home or at work, this is it! Give it a try for yourself -- I recommend it highly!
Internet Watcher, by Bernard D&G, is a great tool to help you enjoy surfing the Internet more. How? By helping to take care of some of the stuff about the Internet that makes it annoying. To begin with, the program can handle cookies. That in itself can be a huge help, but Internet Watcher does more. It also removes banner advertising and pop-up windows. Gosh, don't you just hate those blasted pop-up windows? I do and Internet Watcher helps take care of them in a hurry. Very slick. You can also use it to filter out Web pages, which makes it great for both parents and businesses. Get rid of offensive Web content and do it easily. Another cool feature is that it keeps a log of what sites have been visited, so you'll know exactly where your children have been.
Internet Watcher has a very intelligent cookie filter, and give you a number of options when it comes to dealing with cookies. Block them, accept them, delete them, and even manage all the cookies that are already on your computer. And, if you think there aren't any on your computer, think again. Internet Watcher is also an excellent proxy server. I've used here, on my LAN, to be able to manage things across all computers on the LAN. And, all computers can also share the same connection! Beautifully done!

And, it's also available in multiple languages, including English, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, and Hungarian! Pretty slick! So, if you're looking for a product to help make "surfing" the Internet a lot more fun, take a good look at Internet Watcher! It's very nicely done and I think you'll love it!
WinFlash Educator, by Open Window Software, is a powerful educational tool that's perfect for everyone! Yes, I said everyone. It's great for kids, but it's also wonderful for adults. I remember when this award-winning program first appeared -- I was one of the beta testers. And it's only gotten better with time! At the most basic level, it will let you turn out "flash cards" that can help you to learn anything. Yes, I said anything! You can use if for spelling words, history facts and dates, drug dosages for nursing students -- I could go on for paragraphs. What? You thought "flash cards" were only for kids? Don't be silly.
WinFlash Educator can be used by anyone to create learning tools for any subject, on any level. It actually keeps tracks your progress so you know how you're doing. And then, it puts more focus on the things you have trouble with! Absolutely great! And if you think I'm a fan of this program, you're right! You can create "decks" of cards and then reverse the order. You can add graphics, sounds, video, and lots more. Have questions that require more than one answer and multiple choice questions too. And now, you can even take and export your card decks out to a PDA device for PocketPC or Palm and study on the go. In the car, on the plane, anyplace you need to.
WinFlash Educator, by Open Window Software, is a wonderful program for learning. It comes in several different levels -- basic, scholar, and educator, so you can get exactly the one that's right for you. And it's great for people of all ages because it gives you the flexibility you need to learn! Create cards that are simple, or go for the full multimedia experience -- it's up to you. The program is highly configurable so you can have it do exactly what you want. Easy subjects or complex ones, it doesn't matter. WinFlash Educator is one of the best overall educational programs it's been my pleasure to work with. And I give it my highest recommendation. Try it!
