WinBackup, by LIUtilities, Inc., is a backup utility that's extremely well-done! The interface is intuitive and extremely easy-to-use and that makes it perfect for both new and experienced users. And while it's easy-to-use, it's still loaded with impressive features. The program allows you to make regular backups of all your most important files. And I can't stress enough just how important it is to keep your data backed up. WinBackup will let you schedule automatic backups so they can run while you're not using your computer. All you have to do is remember to put a fresh CD or DVD in the drive -- WinBackup can use both! And, if you're around when you run your backups you'll be pleased to know that WinBackup can "span" multiple disks. That means you can backup your entire hard disk if you want!
WinBackup utilizes file compression to make each file smaller. That means you can get more on each disc. At the same time it keeps your data secure, allowing you to encrypt it with either 128 or 256-bit encryption. And, if that weren't enough, the program even lets you password protect your backups. Want to know how your last scheduled backup went? No problem because the program keeps a complete log of its activities. Very slick! Another excellent feature is that WinBackup will do an estimate and calculate the approximate size of your backups that use compression. The program works quickly and efficiently and also works very well in the background. In several of my tests I had it backing up while I worked and it did an impressive job.

And yet, with all the things it provides, the program is still very intuitive and easy-to-use! I've evaluated a number of backup utilities, and for my money WinBackup is one of the best I've tried. So, if you've been meaning to backup all of your valuable data, don't waste another minute. Give WinBackup a try -- I think you'll be impressed!
NaturePainter Digital Canvas, by NaturePainter Software, is an impressive program that truly brings real "painting" to the computer. There are any number of wonderful "paint" programs, but this is really a program for painting! You get an array of 'brushes' to use as well as other artist tools. One really cool feature is the ability to "mix" your colors, just as if you were using real paint! Very slick indeed. Now I don't think I need to remind you that I'm not an artist and that I am, in fact "graphically challenged." But after a bit of experimenting, I found I could create an entire array of various shades of green. Or gray. Or brown. You get the idea. I found it to be very impressive. And so cool -- as you move a brush you can see as it runs out of paint!
NaturePainter Digital Canvas also has another feature that just knocked me out -- tutorials. The first actually shows you how to use each of the various "tools" that come with the program. And that is a learning experience in itself. But, as the tutorials go on, they get more and more impressive. For those who remember him, it reminded me of watching Bob Ross on television. To see a mountain take shape, to see how a "little shrub" is created. And then highlighted to show where the light source is. I feel that the examples alone could help you to learn various painting techniques. I had a blast just experimenting with it. And I can only imagine what a person schooled in art can do with the program.
NaturePainter Digital Canvas, by NaturePainter Software, is a unique product for painting on your computer. Your screen becomes a canvas and the program gives you all your supplies. From my humble perspective, it's as close to real painting as you're going to find on your computer. The tutorials alone are worth the price of admission.
So, if you're an artist, or even if you aren't, you need to give this program a try! One of the most intriguing programs I've looked at in a long time. Bravo!
X2Net WebCompiler, by X2Net Limited, is a neat program for actually compiling your Web pages. The program really has three differen parts and I'll try to touch on them just briefly. The end result, however, is that you can put an interactive Web page on a CD or a disk and let people see it! Now, to the program. When you start out you create a "project" and so you use the Project Manager portion of the program. In here you locate the Web (HTML) pages you want to use, and set basic parameters for how the program works. And if you wonder what something means, this is where you'll find all the online help regarding the compilers options. Really very impressive.
X2Net WebCompiler gives you lots of options and among them is the ability to "lock" sections of what you're presenting. So, the second component is the Password Generator. It will allow you to create passwords to protect an entire folder or just a single page. Entirely up to you! You can also utilize "usernames" in conjunction with the passwords. Have everyone use the same username, like "Guest" or have a unique one for each person. The last segment of the program is the Feedback Decryptor. Feedback you say? Why yes, because as I mentioned earlier the compiled pages are interactive. Your compilations can have order pages, email links, and much more. If you like the information sent by users can by encrypted. And what's very impressive is that X2Net WebCompiler can deal with such things as scripts, plugins, and even "cookies". This makes it a powerful tool for creating electronic books or even product catalogs. With this program you can put your Web site on disk or let users download it, and then
they can order later.
X2Net WebCompiler, by X2Net Limited, is a powerful program for compiling Web pages that's also extremely flexible. It gives you the control you need to present what you want. Password protect certain areas, have usernames, make it secure -- whatever you like. And, you don't have to be a programmer to use it, which makes it perfect for both home and business use. If you have HTML code that you'd like to utilize in new and different ways, this may be your solution! So, take a good look at X2Net WebCompiler. I recommend it!
