CSS Quick Backup, by CSS Software, is a really slick program for backing up all of the important files and folders on your computer. The program is easy-to-use and has an intuitive interface. And that makes it perfect for both new and experienced users. And believe me, you can never have enough backups. Your backups should have backups. Some backup programs are designed to backup your hard drive to another location. CSS Quick Backup is designed to let you quickly backup the most important files on your machine. And CSS Quick Backup makes it easy to backup quickly. You create individual backup "jobs" using a handy "Jobs Wizard." So, for example, I selected the folder where all of my Picks files are stored. The program gives you lots of options like whether to password protect your backup, delete the original files afterwards, where the backups should be stored, and lots more. I created jobs for all of my most important folders. The ones that contain documents and other files that I wouldn't want to lose
. The program is fast and very efficient! And creating "jobs" is a snap with the handy "wizards."
CSS Quick Backup will let you run your jobs manually or you can schedule them. Another really cool feature is that it comes with CSS File Sentry. What's really neat about this is that you can pick specific files for the 'sentry' to monitor. And boy, does it monitor them. Each and every time you change any of those files, File Sentry makes a backup of it. This is perfect for making sure that you never lose really important documents. Every revision will be backed up, so you're always covered. I know, you're thinking that you run out of disk space because you have so many backups. Well CSS has you covered there too. You can actually tell the File Sentry to delete backups after a set number of days. Very cool. And at the same time, the program can also pack your backups into ZIP format files to save you space. Nicely done!
CSS Quick Backup, by CSS Software, is a powerful backup tool that's intuitive to use. The Backup and Restore wizards are very good and guide you through each step. The program is loaded with options so you can handle backing up files and folders exactly the way you want to. The main interface shows you a history of all jobs and keeps track of each and every backup. And when you need it, the program makes it simple to restore an individual file or an entire folder. So, if you've been looking for a quick and easy way to backup, and protect, important files and folders, look no further! CSS Quick Backup does a beautiful job. Give it a try for your self. I recommend it!
Well, that brings us to an end for this week. I hope you enjoyed reading about these Picks as much as I enjoyed writing about them. Remember, if you try a shareware program and find yourself using it, be sure to pay for it. In that way the shareware marketing concept works for all of us. I'd also like to that all of you who participated in the SIAF People's Choice Awards voting. The winners will be announced at the annual Shareware Industry Awards banquet in July. And I'll be back next week with more great programs to tell you about. Till them, be safe, and happy downloading.
