Reviews of Excellent Software

Greetings and Welcome Back! I'm very pleased that you could take the time to stop by. I've been very busy with work and also with getting things around here ready for winter. Hoping that maybe we'll at least have a few, good blizzards if we're lucky. So, have to get everything taken care of -- firewood cut and stacked, pool closed, sprinkler shut off, and more. And, I've been looking at a ton of interesting software as well. I have several programs I'd like to tell you about. So, if you're all set, just sit back, relax, grab the beverage of your choice, and lets take a look!

  • Relative Reversion
  • Version: 1.9
  • System Requirements: Windows 98/NT/2000/XP

  • Download Relative Reversion NOW!

Relative Reversion, by DataMills, is a handy utility that you can use to backup your important data. I do seem to be on a backup kick lately don't I? Well, with good reason. The first time you lose all the stuff on your computer, you'll know why backups are important and why I preach about doing them. Relative Reversion gives you a very neat way to do "incremental snapshots" of various data on your hard disks. And, at the same time, even if you've done a number of incremental backups, you can do a restore from just one snapshot. This makes backing up, and restoring, quick and easy. The program also supports a number of different snapshot types. There are also three (3) different versions of the program, so you get lots of options.

Relative Reversion can utilize a wide range of backup media, including CD-R, CD-RW, JAZZ drives, ZIP drives, local hard disks, and even networked drives. Here again, that gives you lots of options. Another thing I liked about the program is that it lets you determine how the program should manage all your snapshots. That makes it very flexible. I also found the program to be very easy-to-use and intuitive. That, to me, makes it perfect for both new and experienced users. You can also schedule snapshots, so they occur on a regular basis. At the same time you can define just how many backups you want. When the program gets to the number you set, it deletes the older ones. Very slick! And, if all that weren't enough, the program also keeps a log of all it's activities.

Relative Reversion by DataMills, is a powerful program that I found to be easy-to-use. It lets you keep incremental backups of your important data by allowing you to make "snapshots" of entire drives or just files and folders you feel are important. The program lets you use a wide range of media, and that makes it very flexible. Another nice feature is that it can be used across a Local Area Network, or LAN. So, if you're looking for yet another way to backup your important data, take a good look at this product. I think you'll like it!

  • Just Tabs

Just Tabs, by Lincoln Beach Software, is a really slick product for spicing up your Web pages. I've mentioned before that I'm in the "graphically challenged" category, and even I can use Just Tabs and do a great job! The program makes it easy to create a "tabbed" interface for your Web site. And that tabbed interface makes it a lot easier to move around. I really liked the fact that Just Tabs let me decide how my tabs would look. You can pick out the shape you want and select the color. You can even select which font you'd like to use. Very slick!

Just Tabs makes it extremely easy to insert your new, tabbed interface into the HTML documents you already have. The program guides you through the process so there's no need to cut and paste the HTML code. I used it on my own Web site and it was a snap. And I find that the tabbed interface makes it easier for visitors to get around. Another feature that I like is that you have the option to make your tabs either horizontal or vertical! Makes it easy to give your Web pages a new look in a flash. Cool!

Just Tabs, by Lincoln Beach Software, is a nifty tool that does a specific task and does it well! The interface is intuitive and that makes it great for both new and experienced users. It gives you lots of configurable options so your tabbed interface can be just the way you want it to be. Pick the font, the shape, the color, and lots more. Heck, you can even pick which direction your tabs run in! So, to make your Web pages easier to navigate, you owe it to yourself to take a good look at Just Tabs. You won't find anything that's easier to use. Give it a try -- I recommend it!

And, if you like, the program can search your entire computer to find any music files you may have misplaced - Very slick! In other words, you can put 12 songs on a CD and then put on 12 more sometime next week. This gives you more flexibility when creating your music CDs. In working with the program I found the interface to be intuitive and the program very easy-to-use. Perfect for users at all levels of computer experience. And, as the name implies, you can also burn data files to CDs just as easily.
