Mid2Wav4 is an off-line synthesizer. It converts MIDI files into CD quality WAVE files, using numerical instruments. The necessary tool to create new instruments from notes samples (instbuild4) is included. All programs have Win95 style graphical front-ends, english language Windows help files and contextual help. The minimum set of instruments is included. Additional instruments created by the author may be downloaded from http://palbou.free.fr/richiset.html The 4.3 release added control of default channels volumes (previously 0) for MIDI files without volume events. The 4.4 release corrects several bugs (found in parts of the software the author does not use himself!).
