clean DOS environment. Emulates Spectrum 48K, 128K, +2 and Timex 2068,
Interface 1, Microdrive, Network, MIDI, RS232, joysticks, ZX printer,
keypad. Nice and clean sound emulation of both beeper and AY chip under
Adlib, SoundBlaster and PC speaker. Accurate timing allows direct
loading from real cassette. Supports about 30 different spectrum
formats (Z80, SNA, SLT, TZX, TAP, VOC, ZIP), also with proper TAP format
that can be compressed. Recognizes many nonstandard loaders. Real time
border and high color resolution effects emulated. Very fast, although
slightly slower than release 1.5, can reach original Spectrum speed at
386/33. Windows 95 aware. User shell with lot of options contains many
convertors, transfer utilities,file maintenance and database program.
Can make EXE file from Spectrum program. Built in transparent Z80
debugger. Expandable with emulation of other devices (mouse, parallel
printer) and PC instructions.
Special requirements: 286 or higher, any graphic card, sound card
recommended.
Changes: This version is realtime with Timex 2068 emulation, dozen of
file formats added, good support for SoundBlaster. User shell
can be in graphic mode.
warsp251.zip has replaced warasp15.zip.
