APATH v2.3 offers the following features:
o Prepend and Append directories to the PATH, avoids redundant entries
o Delete directory entries from the PATH, no error if not present
o Multiple additions and removals may be specified on a line
o Ability to modify the master environment

o Handles individual environment variables up to 4K in length
APATH v2.4a offers the following features:
o Ability to alter any environment variable by specification, or
by simply renaming the program
o Swap the definition of '+' and the default of no '+'
o Handles individual environment variables up to 8K in length
o Provides case-sensitive environment variables and strings
o Includes APATH v2.3
