Description by Publisher
The Unicode Image-Label Control has just been plucked from the tree. It was first developed as a mechanism for laying out the elements of the ActiveX Tree Control also created by the same author. The implementation of this image-label compounded elements of the tree has become so profound that it can already be established independently of the tree to serve a different but equally important purpose in software development.
The discussion and documentation of the features of the Unicode Image-label Control follow that of its parent control.
At this point, please note that there is no keyboard, mouse or scroll support for this control, somewhat similar to the standard static control. The corresponding edit control - which allows for editing the header, body, or both - is developed only for commercial release. For that matter, all controls with in-place editing capability are developed only for commercial release.
Particularly, it is an activeX control with two sections of labels which can be displayed independently of the other, either horizontally or vertically. The text uses full unicode character set. The text of each label can likewise be assigned a separate set of font styles and attributes.
It is also capable of displaying an image, whether alone or in conjunction with one or two sections of labels.
The three may have their own margins and borders. And a lot more!
