Description by Publisher
MoonPaper is a desktop wallpaper changer / screen saver that keeps your wallpaper up-to-date with the current moon phase. It also allows you to explore the image in more detail than you could if it were only available as a wallpaper. Below is a breakdown of what MoonPaper does and what you can do with it:
- MoonPaper resides in the system tray and changes the desktop wallpaper to the image that closely matches the current phase of the Moon. The current version contains 22 of the planned 28 images.
- The icon in the system tray will indicate the current phase and age of the Moon when the mouse is placed over it.
From the icon you can launch the main dialog. This dialog will show you a thumbnail of the currently displayed image as well as a description of the image. You are able to perform the following operations:
- Choose the image you want to display or allow MoonPaper to select the image closest to the current moon.
- View the selected image full screen with the ability to zoom and pan around the image.
- Choose to have many of the major features of the current image annotated by checking "Annotated Moon".
Once in the viewer, you can explore the image using various tools. You can zoom in and out as well as scroll around the image. These actions can be done using the keyboard, tool buttons, or using the mouse to drag the image with the left mouse button and zoom with the mouse wheel.
