Picbook v2.0 is a set of ten history and geography educational book-like
programs: Australian Traditional Aborigines, Australian Plants, Coastal
Processes, Early Man, Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, Ancient Rome, Famous
People of the Ancient World, and Famous People of the Modern Age. These
easy to use programs allow the user to increase their knowledge through a
book- like story. Comprehension questions are asked at the end of each
page. At the end of each program the user can select to play a Hangman
type game or a Find a Word game to reinforce the words used in the main
program. They are 'robust' windows programs that have being running
without problems over a school network system for five years. Although
they are DOS programs, they work very well under Windows.
