deBabel GE v1.00 is a DOS based intelligent dictionary program to
translate English words and text files to German. The program makes from
an English text file another file(s) indentifying the German meaning of
the words listed after every English sentence. So if you know a little
bit of English (fundamental grammar and the most fundamental words), this
program will help to read an English text file, or fast search in the
dictionary when reading a printed text. If you use a word processor to
translate with windowing features it gives you the possibility of using
two windows. Into the first you can write the text already translated,
in the second you can show the original English text and translations of
the words. The English German vocabulary consists about 103,000
translations of 66,000 English words.
