deBabel HU v1.00 is a DOS based intelligent dictionary program to
translate English words and text files to Hungarian. Intelligence means
that the program tries to find out from the English word what are the
possible dictionary forms, then with the help of the vocabulary writes
out the possible translations in the monitor or in the suitable file.
The program makes from an English text file another file(s) where you get
the original English sentences behind them in parentheses the serial
numbers and the Hungarian meanings of the words will be listed separately
after every sentence. So if you know a little bit of English
(fundamental grammar and the most fundamental words), this program will
help to read an English text file, or fast search in the dictionary when
reading a printed text. If you use a word processor to translate with
windowing features it gives you the possibility of using two windows.
Into the first you can write the text already translated, in the second
you can show the original English text and translations of the words.
The English Hungarian vocabulary consists about 127,000 translations of
36,000 English words.
