This all-graphic (GUI) program is an electronic guide to William
Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'. The guide includes the
complete text of the play, extensive introductory and supplementary
material, a thorough glossary, comments, variant readings, a quiz and
over eighty illustrations. The program provides the capability to
display the text of the play in several different fonts and formats,
search for all occurrences of specified words, and append additional
notes. Sections are included on the play, Elizabethan theaters,
language, text, critical comments, possible sources, editors, dates,
Shakespeare's times, a collection of famous Shakespearean quotes and
an introduction to 'The Tempest'.
Special requirements: IBM-compatible PC, 640K, an EGA or VGA monitor,
MS-DOS or Windows, and approximately 1.6 megabytes
of disk space. A mouse is optional.
