Description by Publisher
GLE (Graphics Language Editor) is a package for producing publication
quality graphs and diagrams, originally written by Chris Pugmire (Dept
of Scientific and Industrial Research, New Zealand) and subsequently
updated by Axel Rhode (University of Keil) and Stefen Mundt (University
of Dusseldorf) Versions for MSDOS and Unix were produced. A feature of
GLE is the depth of control offered to the user. (e.g. The length,
thickness and color of axis subticks may be set by the user.) Thus it
is possible to produce graphs and diagrams that exactly match your
requirements. GLE2000 is an extended version for WIN9x and NT4 systems
produced by Derek G.W. Ingram, (Cambridge University, U.K.) Extensions
include polar graphs, 24 bit color and extended mathematical functions
(Error functions, Fresnel integrals etc.) Features such as Smith's
Charts, Probability plots and Bar Charts can be handled through the use
of subroutines. Screen drawing using the mouse has been enhanced.
Basic output is a compact source listing of drawing instructions, which
may be used to print the diagram or display a bitmap image for web
pages etc. Extensive Help and error checking facilities are included.
Special requirements. None.
Freeware. Uploaded by the author.
