efficiently. It allows you to define a range of different fields
relating to your books, and can then search or sort them. These fields
include 8 keywords, a long summary, and links to files or Internet
addresses. The field names can be personalized.
In the main screen of DV Book Manager, a list of books, partial or
total, is displayed. It is sorted by a field chosen by the user. To
help you in filling all the information as quickly as possible, DV Book
Manager has, for some fields, a list of 'common entries' These lists
allow you to fill the fields by simply choosing the required item from
the list. You can either fill the lists by using the Tools/Common
entries menu or let DV Book Manager fill them automatically.
DV Book Manager can sort your books according to any criteria. This
makes possible to display a customized list of books. For example, a
list of books whose category is Music or a list of books on Computing by
a particular author and/or publisher. These selections can be saved to
be called by a single click.
