A christian study program containing many subjects: The bible in both traditional and modern format with daily readings based on a two year cycle method used by monks and the church for centuries to match festival and Saint days. The book part also contains a history of christianity and a number of classic writings by famous christian authors. The music section contains hymns; carols and a number of longer classical compositions expounding the glories of God and the teachings of Christ. The art contains paintings inspired by the life of Christ, as the art list is changed a small image is show which can the be displayed in full screen mode. Both the subject text and control titles are linked to Microsoft speech engines version 4, of which the minimum is included in the installation. The level of speech can be controled to be spoken as required or set to automatic so that a blind person can use the program. There are two types of interfaces to the speech engine, a none locking interface that can be called from different programs and a speech lock interface is used on long sections of text that highlights the currently spoken word to give a re-inforced visual feed back which greatly aids in comprehension and learning for a dyslexia suffer. Also a colour back ground is used to aid reading for dyslexia suffer's, a standard light yellow (infoBk) is used for text: the control back ground is green which changes to light yellow when focused by the tab key or the mouse cursor; research has shown that using coloured back ground greatly increases comprehension and in rare extreme cases is the only way a dyslexia suffer can read.
