This combination of server technology and bandwidth provides the capacity to deliver in excess of 900 Gigabytes of data per server per day.

Why do I need it?

• Your current web host provider (ISP) contract terms do not allow you to provide file downloads...
• You regularly exceed your allotted usage via your existing file hosting service (ISP)...
• You need to provide a reliable, *direct* download link to your files (for users, distribution sites, registration/order services, etc)...
• You need direct control over which files are made available, to whom, and when (without having to wait for a 3rd party to process, post, or remove your files)...

How much does it cost?

There is a $25.00 set-up fee for each account (includes 50 Megabytes of storage space), and a $25.00/month basic usage fee. The basic usage fee allows up to 5Gb of data delivery. If you exceed the basic 5Gb level in any given month, your overage is charged *only* for the data delivered, and at *only* $0.005 per Mb -- there are no "penalty" charges or inflated rates for usage beyond the basic 5Gb level. Included at no additional charge is 50 Megabytes in disk space. There is a one time set up fee of $100.00 for each additional 50 Megabyte increment of disk space used. You can have as many files of whatever size you want, just be aware that if you go over 50 Meg in total directory size, you will be charged the additional fee. If you do not go over the first 50 Meg of space, there is no additional charge.

Example:
You know you are going to have somewhere around 18 Gig in file downloads during the month. You sign up for this service, your costs are - $25.00 set-up, $25.00 (pre-pay) monthly minimum. At the end of the month, your total billing calculation is as follows...

• Monthly Minimum: $25.00 (paid in advance the previous month)
• Data Delivered: $90.95 (18,190,114,709 bytes / 18,190 megabytes X $.005)
• Subtotal: $65.95 ($90.95 - $25.00 pre-paid)
• Monthly Minimum: $25.00 (for the upcoming month)
• Total Billing: $90.95

Are my downloads coming from the Simtel.Net Archive System?

No. This BandWidth Service is not run off the 90+ Simtel Mirror sites around the world.

How does it work?

Once you sign up (link below) for the service, your credit card will be verified and charged $50.00 ($25.00 set-up and $25.00 monthly minimum pre-payment). The RegNow (our eCommerce provider, also owned by Digital River, as is Simtel.Net) system will communicate the order to Simtel. Once we get it here, your account will be created and we will send you an email with your account information and instructions on how to get started. You will upload your files, then log into the Adminstration page where you will select what files you want to move from the staging server to the production server. It is as quick and simple as that. You have 24/7 access to your files.

You will get a daily log file of the download activity for your directory. This will be available for you to download from the staging server. At the end of the month you will be provided a statement of your daily use, and your month end total. It is this amount that we will charge to your credit card that you provided when you signed up for the service.
