Retrieving album details
Automatically retrieve album details from the Freedb.org website or the Amazon.com Web Services. It's also possible to get album details by reading the embedded mp3 tags (ID3 tags) of the current mp3 files.
Renaming
Once the correct album details are collected, they are used to automatically rename and tag the mp3 files. There are several options available for manipulating the new filenames and their tags. The current mp3 album folder can also be automatically renamed.
ID3 tags
Smart MP3 Renamer can write/remove both ID3v1 and ID3v2 tags. The program includes an advanced ID3 tag editor that supports soundtracks and releases with multiple artists. It's also possible to write and remove album cover pictures from the ID3 tags.
Validate
