The only windows firewall that I would recommend. Shame that its been discontinued due to corporate takeover from Symantec.

Hooray, a no-nonsense windows program. No bloated interface, no skins, no fancy graphics, just a simple low-resource firewall that does what it needs to do, and does it well.

Only one small issue: if you're on XP with multiple users logged in, only the first user who logs in will get a tray icon, and all messages show up for this user. If you're the second user to log in and your newly installed netprog doesn't seem to work, you have to quickswitch to the first user to give/deny permission.

Suberb product! Have tried most other freebies on the web and this is perfect for me. Easy setup and good flexibility for your specific needs. If you wont a more simple interface and dont need the flexibility go with zonealarm. Kerio is also cool but to many settings and popups requiring input.
