This is the best CD-Runner ever!! The new HTTP submit to the freedb works even with my firewall which requires authentication, and the local freedb database search speed and options BLOWS AWAY every other pathetic attempt by other programs to claim that they offer some local DB features. Just try it. |

I had originally used CD-Runner way back in 1996 when it was one of the only graphical CD player programs around. Since then I had gone on to use other programs mainly because I listened to some of the hype and propaganda that the "big boys" had been spewing. After being disillusioned with some of these lately, I took another look at CD-Runner, and to my amazement it was exactly what I was looking for! It has some of the best looking graphical screens anywhere, tons of features including both parametric and graphical equalizers and a beautifully constructed spectrum analyzer. The buttons move and light up when you click them, and the LEDs and other "eye candy" displays really look and work great. The fact that this program also has the best local freedb database implementation (and yes, I've tried all other programs that do this) really sold it for me. This is truly a great product, so much so that I've re-registered it and thrown out all of my other similar programs. |

Finally, a program that does everything I want, looks cool and has support (the programmer even emails you back!). The only negative that I have found is that it is not free, but I paid my 15 bucks for this since it was too good to pass up. |

Great looking package, has the only EQ that I've ever seen that you can change the frequencies and bandwidths. This is also the first spectrum analyzer that works with my SB Audigy 2 sound board for audio CDs. |
