SmallPrint is a unique program which enables the user to print whole multi-page documents onto one page. It works with scanned 1-bit bitmaps. All other sources must be converted into bitmaps (with a 'print to bitmap' printer driver which is included with registration). It can format these bitmaps into loose newspaper-style columns or the more usual row format printing that many multi-up applications produce. It features a highly effective 'autocrop' option to remove the white edges from bitmaps. It also has a variable compression option which compresses white space between lines of writing.
There is context sensitive help and plenty of advanced format options. With high compression you can on average squeeze 25% more information onto a page. A cheap 600DPI laser printer for example can print legibly over 50 A4 pages onto one side of A4 even before compression. The output is fully customizable so you don't have to use it for such small print if your eyesight isn't up to it. It works with any graphics-capable printer (some old printers can only print text). A good inkjet (preferably with dedicated black) or laser printer is recommended for full use of SmallPrint.
Businesses can now print whole project documents onto one page for a better understanding. Students would also benefit from compressing all their study notes onto a couple of pages. The paper, ink and toner saving is also a good reason to use SmallPrint. SmallPrint also features TWAIN support and a built in bitmap viewer. The bitmap viewer now allows you to change magnification. There is now in-built Zip file packing/unpacking capability which can save around 80% of the storage space needed for the image files.
