NewsAnchor is an Internet news browser which allows you to schedule news item extractions from multiple Web sources. Your listed news items include the story title, description, source, and time retrieved, and can be viewed in your default Web browser by clicking the story link. NewsAnchor runs as a convenient icon in the System Tray area of the Windows taskbar, refreshing itself in the background. When new news items are retrieved, the icon changes and an optional alert is played ("You've got news!" is the default). You can also select your news sources, schedule the refresh cycle, and customize the display.
