Description by Publisher
This update fixes some compatibility issues with Windows XP.
Tarantula is a WYSIWYG HTML Editor with pixel level layout control. It creates very efficient and fast-loading pages with very readable, indented HTML. You can drag and drop content into the design area, and freely move it around (just like in Photoshop etc.). It can create pages using standard HTML, or can be set to use CSS Positioning for layout. The pages it generates look the same in both IE and Netscape. It can import DOC, RTF files. etc., and format them automatically and convert them to HTML. It shows animated images in design mode, and has a built-in image optimizer, which can convert GIF/JPG/BMP/PCX etc. to GIF or JPG (displays download times, sizes). You can create roll-overs easily, with very efficient JavaScript code (no need to know JS or HTML). It supports custom-HTML areas, and has spell-check facility. A full fledged project manager is also included. FOr those who want to edit HTML directly, Tarantula has a per-area HTML editor, as well as a per-page HTML editor. These are tag-based editor, which automatically check for nesting of tags etc. It can even import DBF files and create an HTML- table out of it. The HTML looks almost hand-made, and is very efficient (pages created in Tarantula load much faster because of page design). You can convert text directly to GIF images, without using any third-party software. Truly a one-stop shop for web designing!
