Create piano music (.mid) files using your computer. Easy to understand and use. Requires no additional hardware beyond an electronic piano, or soundboard and speakers. Requires no particular knowledge of MIDI, and contains no references to patches, controllers, pitchbend etc. Will work with Windows 3.x, Windows 9x, and up. The approach uses standard musical terminology for note names and durations. This program is based on Midi Piano Player, but the output created (i.e. the .mid file) is more fully compatible with most music software for purposes of playing, editing, and printing out in standard notation. Therefore, this program can be either used as a standalone, or as a front-end to other music software.
