There is no "yuk" when you use KetoKids to create individual meal plans for children on the ketogenic diet. You will develop good tasting meals based on your child's individual needs. The software includes the entire USDA food database of over 6000 foods, custom settings, The Keto Gourmet cookbook of recipes and the author's actual example of his son's diet. How or why the ketogenic diet works for some children to control seizures is not understood but, it has been known to be effective for nearly 100 years. The diet itself is a mathematical computation of the ratio of the grams of fat in a meal to the grams of protein plus the grams of carbohydrates. This software performs the math and balances the individual food portions to achieve the desired ketogenic ratio. Examples are included which demonstrate how to convert your favorite recipes into a ketogenic individual meal plan. Developed by the parent of a KetoKid for parents of KetoKids.
