Datamap is a multiplatform disk space and data growth monitoring tool which helps manage disk storage on local servers or in the enterprise network.
Datamap is based on a client/server architecture where the server side is based on Apache, PHP and a MYSQL.
Each Datamap client scans local directories which are defined by the user, and sends the scan results into the central database. Using the web console interface users can view and generate various disk usage and statistics reports.
Datamap clients do not require any installation and can be installed on any Operating System platform. Copying the client binary to the servers requiring monitoring and scheduling its execution once a day is the only operation required for the client installation.
