group@work is a COM-Add-In
for Microsoft Outlook® 2000 and later that allows the sharing of a MS Outlook®
calendar, contacts and tasks without the need of installing extra-software like MS Exchange-Server®
or a dedicated server-software.
group@work is totally
embedded in Outlook® so that the users can continue working with appointments, contacts and tasks
without any difference. Users still can add, modify or delete data as usual
and all the changes made are synchronized to all participating workstations
in definable intervals. Users are able to store group@work-data in a different
MS Outlook® folder to keep private data separated.
group@work in standard
version uses an Microsoft Access® Database (included) for storing centralized
data allowing all users to synchronize with this database. An SQL-Version
for most popular RDBMS-Systems is also available separately.
group@work does not need a permanent connection to the network. group@work has an "offline mode" designed especially for notebook-users. In "offline mode" a user can still access and change all group@work-data. When reconnected to the network all changed information is synchronized.
group@work is licensed
on a per-user-basis. Following versions are available: 5 users, 10 users, 20 users and unlimited users
