Description by Publisher
ExtLib is the alternative C++ library for developing applications under Windows operating
systems. This library is unique regarding practise orientation, sophistication and range of functions.
Extlib supports all common 32-Bit Windows systems since Windows98 and NT4 SP3 with installed
Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher.
ExtLib has minimal dependencies, namely STL and Microsoft's Platform SDK. Furthermore it requires
a CString compatible string implementation, e.g. MFC::CString, WTL::CString etc. There are no other
dependencies, for instance on frameworks.
ExtLib is compatible with VC++ 6, VC++ 2005, MFC and ATL.
The library includes all source codes. No more problems with precompiled modules on which you
have no influence. Here you decide yourself about how your compilation should look like.
Because of its low-level coding ExtLib offers an unbeatable high performance.
ExtLib primarily uses standard components of the supported systems which makes it very lean
and flexible.
Contains all important implementations you need for your application development, even
extensive implementations like MIME capable Internet Messages. That saves money and time.
The realization of the library follows common techniques and rules of C++ programming,
especially object orientation. Templates are sparingly used and only where they lead to advantages.
The whole code looks tidy and is better readable and understandable.
The compilation degree can be controlled by precompiler directives.
Used in all Footwear-Box products.
Follows an own conception and philosophy without forcing it upon someone else.
