Description by Publisher
This software package has been designed in order to help beginners in piano read a score and manage to correctly position their fingers on piano keys without taking their eyes off the score they intend to perform.
Indeed, the first difficulty that beginners in piano face when performing a piece they do not know is entailed by the fact they have to take their eyes off their score in order to look at their hands and perform the chord or notes they have just read.
Principle
The principle on which this software package runs is very simple:
Your computer provides you with a random series of chords on your screen and you are expected to perform them on your midi keyboard.
There is no notion of respect for rhythm in this case. On contrary, you answer as fast as you can the fastest you are, the best mark you have. Indeed, since exercises are graded, you will be able to follow your progress.
It goes without saying that a certain number of parameters make it possible to interact on the way chords are generated. It also enables one to select his/her level of difficulty.
Software other functions :
- A score editor in order to select a series of chords and/or notes you want to particularly work on: constant exercises. (Manual mode)
- A blind mode for you to work your ear: the program plays a series of 4 chords but it is not displayed: it belongs to you to recognize and play it.
Possible identification (creation and selection of a pupil) enabling the preservation of exercise results for various different people.
